How it works

From your DNA to a recommendation you can defend.

Most DNA tests hand you a list of genes and leave you guessing. We do the opposite: we connect your genetics to specific, evidence-graded peptide and nutraceutical recommendations, and we show our work at every step.

    The simple version

Your DNA shapes how you may respond.

Your body's traits are shaped by small differences in your DNA. Published research links specific differences to how people may respond to certain peptides and supplements. The Pep Report reads those differences and matches them to the options the evidence actually supports for you. Every recommendation in your report traces back to a published study, and every one is graded by how strong that study is.

    The chain

We follow one chain, and never break it.

Every recommendation in your report traces back to published evidence, we never guess at the connections. Many are matched to the goals and outcomes you tell us about, each with a citation behind it. Where your DNA has something to say, we go further and walk the full chain, your variant → the gene → the biological pathway → the health outcome → the matched compound, so the recommendation is personalized to you and graded by how strong the science is. A link either exists in our curated evidence base, with a citation behind it, or it doesn't appear in your report. That discipline is what makes every recommendation explainable.

    Your genotype

It's your genotype, not just your genes.

Carrying a gene isn't the whole story. Which version you carry can matter. Where the published evidence supports it, The Pep Report reads your actual genetic call and conditions the recommendation on it. Where the evidence only supports a gene-level link, we say so: those recommendations are clearly labeled in your report and always rank below genotype-specific ones. We never present gene-level evidence as if it were genotype-specific.

    Evidence grading

We grade the evidence, strongest science first.

Not all evidence is equal. We rank every connection by the strength of the science behind it, from large clinical trials and meta-analyses at the top, down to early and emerging findings, which we label honestly as such. You always see how strong the science is, not just what's recommended.

    Clinical guardrails

Built with the guardrails clinicians expect.

A good recommendation isn't only about what works, it's about what's safe for you. The Pep Report automatically accounts for how your genes affect the way you process compounds, flags genetic safety considerations, filters by biological sex, and removes options your genetics warn against, surfacing all of it for your provider to review. Our framework follows the same evidence principles trusted in established clinical genetics, and reports can be exported in standard formats that plug into clinical systems.

    Honest by design

    Honest by design.

    • Reproducible. The same DNA always produces the same report, there's no black box and no AI improvising your health recommendations. Our recommendation engine is fully deterministic.
    • Cited. Every recommendation traces to published research you (or your provider) can open and read.
    • Honest about gaps. If your panel doesn't cover something, we mark it "not tested", we never fill a blank with a guess.
    • Independently checked. Our pharmacogenomic interpretations (APOE haplotype and CYP enzyme calls) have been cross-validated against an independent clinical laboratory's reports.

    Always learning

Built to grow with the science.

Peptide science is moving fast. Our evidence base is versioned, and every report records the exact version used to generate it. As new research is reviewed and approved by our curation team, your report can be updated to reflect it. With your permission, real-world results from people like you may help sharpen recommendations over time.

Your DNA is the map. We'll show you the route, and the evidence behind it.
